HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN TENTANG ANEMIA DAN KEPATUHAN KONSUMSI TABLET FE DENGAN KEJADIAN ANEMIA PADA IBU HAMIL

Abstract
Pregnancy is a condition where a woman is carrying a fetus in the womb which is the result of sperm cells and ovum cells which will then develop into a baby and will be born at 40 weeks of gestation or around 9-10 months. Anemia is a health problem that reflects the value of socio-economic welfare in society which influences the decline in the quality of human resources.
This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge about anemia and compliance with the consumption of Fe tablets with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the Tuppu Health Center area, Pinrang Regency. This type of research is a cross sectional study method, carried out from September to November 2024 in the work area of the Tuppu Community Health Center with 77 pregnant women as samples using a purposive sampling technique using a questionnaire and HB examination tool.
Based on the results of research on the relationship between knowledge about anemia and compliance with the consumption of FE tablets with the incidence of anemia at the Tuppu Community Health Center with the results of statistical tests, the p value = 0.004 < 0.05, which means there is a relationship between maternal knowledge and the incidence of anemia and the p value = 0.000 < 0.05, which means there is a relationship between compliance with FE tablet consumption and the incidence of anemia at the Tuppu Community Health Center, Pinrang Regency.
